The Spray School Board is pleased to announce and welcome Ms. Lou Lyon as the new superintendent of the school district effective July 1st, 2023.
According to board chair, David Newton, “We are very excited to get Lou on our team. Her experience will better our district and enhance our current programs, especially our CTE program. We very much look forward to getting her here July 1.”
Ms. Lou Lyon has nearly 20 years of education experience including the La Grande and North Wasco school districts. She is currently the Superintendent of Burnt River School District in Unity. She received her Master of Science degree in Educational from Eastern Oregon University and Administrative Credentials from Portland State University and Lewis and Clark College.
